is this the Samsung Galaxy Lite?

For the past few weeks, rumors about the new Samsung Android have been running around the web. After an appropriately shaped handset with a similar model number (I7500 for Galaxy Standard vs I5700 for the Lite) made its way through the FCC, the rumors started to seem pretty solid.

Now it seems that French site FrAndroid may very well have exposed Samsung’s second Google-ified handset to the harsh light of the real world for the first time.

Galaxy Lite was to be a lower-spec’d version of its bigger brother, but with WiFi, 3G, and GPS packed in, it seems surprisingly beefy.

There is something important here, the new Behold 2 is going to be an Android phone, we know that after i posted here and here. At the same time the Behold 2 does not have 3G, same as the Galaxy Lite.. maybe this is just a little coincidence. who knows but if the Galaxy Lite is the new Behold 2, i bet, T-Mobile costumers will be so happy.

We’re not quite sure what to think of this guy, but we’ll keep our ears to the ground.
