Now You Can Use SD Cards with iPhone and iPod touch

I really don’t know why no one’s thought of this before, but the folks at ZoomMediaPlus are probably pretty glad that no one has, because they’ve just announced the zoomit accessory for Apple iPhone and iPod touch. This neat little gizmo enables users to share content from their Mac or PC, or from CE devices such as digital cameras, with their iPhone and iPod touch, without having to sync up the devices.

But just how do they manage that? I hear you cry. Well, according to ZoomMediaPlus, the zoomit connects to your iPhone or iPod touch via the connector on the bottom, and can then be used to read and share content from an SD card of any type or density. The zoomit supports all iPhone SDK 3.0 or higher file types, including photos, music, videos and documents, and also enables users to view, listen, transfer and share content via email, Facebook, Flickr and so on.

If you like the sound of being able to do all that, the zoomit will be available in April 2010 from www.zoomitonline.com for $59.95.
